‘Come With Me’ is the new single from Sunna Margrét, an Icelandic musician and visual artist. It’s a dance cut that almost places her powerful vocal in a battle against the fierce beat, underpinned by an enormous four-to-the-floor bass drum. She also happily toys with synth-pop and post-punk gimmicks, both musically and visually via the accompanying music video. Lyrically, ‘Come With Me’ is about female pleasure, inspired by women speaking out about oppressive and unfulfilling relationships, “mainly because in our culture men tend to ‘come first’ in every meaning of the word.” Sunna Margerét has announced her debut album, Finger On Tongue; an experimental electronic journey that highlights intricate soundscapes and introspective lyrics.
